Wow, 2018 has been the best year yet. So much has happened. So let’s start at the beginning and recap the best year of my life thus far.
It all started off at a bar in Albuquerque, New Mexico counting down till the new year, and kissing in the new year with my other half. That was the moment I knew it was going to be a great year. A month later I celebrated turning 19 with a group of friends that could not be replaced.
In March, I began crossing off my bucket list items. Rico and I went skydiving in California! If you happened to miss that blog go check it out!
Around that time I decided to start training for my first fitness competition! I spent the summer working hard towards my goals both physically, educationally, and mentally.
July 4th Enrico and I expanded our little family by four paws. Sonny came into our lives at 8 weeks and 6 pounds! Glory and him get along better than I could have dreamed of.
In august we hit the beaches of Mexico together, with my family. We had a blast andmade memories that’ll last a lifetime.
September came and I was able to sit back and realize how far I have come. How big of a change I can finally see within my self. So go check out an Open Letter To Myself V.2!
October came and we were able to celebrate our second Balloon Fiesta together and Enrico’s 21st Birthday!
When November finally made its way around was something out of a dream. I was finally competing in the competition I trained the majority of the year for! If you missed my blog on the biggest transformation yet, what are you waiting for? And I also went to my first concert!
As for December, I visited my hometown for the first time in a year and reflected on my year in general. Last Christmas I decided at the age of 18 (now 19) I would begin checking off my bucket list items. So I sat down and made a list of my fears and choose a few to conquer this year, and some things I really just wanted to do. And guess what I did everything!
2018 Bucket List:
While each one of these I could write an entire blog on and some I did, these were huge for me. I didn’t take on 20 items but I decided to start. Yes it has been brought to my attention people don’t usually start their bucket list until closer to the end of their life. But why? A bucket list is things you want to do and a list that will always change and you never know what will happen. I could get sick, get in a car accident, or so many other things and have never accomplished things I wanted to. So why wait, to start living?
A blog is soon to come publicizing my 2019 Bucket List so everyone can hold me accountable!
